The Studio’s first staff spotlight focuses on Rebecca Wismann, owner of The Studio WLV. Rebecca was recently selected as one of the honorees for the Chamber of Commerce 40 under 40 awards.

Earlier this year the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce announced they would be hosting their first 40 under 40 event to focus on the accomplishments of the younger generation of leaders in the community. People in the Conejo Valley were able to nominate employers, co-workers, family or friends under 40 years of age who they believed should be honored for their professional accomplishments. The honorees were selected based on their involvement in the business community and their vision for the future of the Greater Conejo Valley. Rebecca was selected to be among this group of young professionals and attended the dinner and awards ceremony held at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Events Center.

As owner and leader of The Studio WLV for over a decade, Rebecca’s passion for media and the art of marketing has developed this company into one of the preferred multimedia agencies in the surrounding Conejo Valley area. She is honored to receive this award and looks forward to continuing to create a fun, inspiring creative agency for her employees and clients.

Rebecca recognized the need to provide more marketing services to local businesses in the Conejo Valley and progressed from video production to web development. Over time, The Studio has evolved into an all-inclusive company offering everything from graphic design to digital marketing and branding solutions. During the past few years, she has built a strong team with diverse skills sets to best serve all our clients. She is the leader of the team and provides the vision creative guidance for every project that enters our Studio.

Rebecca also thinks beyond the parameters of her company and looks for opportunities to be involved in the surrounding community, embracing any opportunity to give back to local schools and organizations. She has attended career events at local colleges to mentor young students interested in pursuing careers in media and design to give them her professional real-life experience. The Studio has also hosted a Women in Technology group from Oxnard High School where we had the chance to share our work with a younger generation of artists and future marketers.

With her entrepreneurial and creative spirit, Rebecca has been able to build a successful business that provides media services to the local community and aims to be a consistent local resource to the Conejo Valley. Rebecca is thankful to be part of a successful group of young professionals and thanks the Conejo Chamber for her place among the 40 under 40 honorees.
